I’m wrapped up safely in the reassurance that I will get to sleep in for the next two weeks. I look outside and see the frost on my window; it’s so much more beautiful with a mug of hot chocolate in your hands and a blanket around your shoulders.

Winter break.
I’m going to go outside during the first, fresh-falling snow. I’m going to let the flakes collect on my eyelashes and bring a rosy flush to my cheeks. I’m going to walk and leave footprints that will only be covered up by more snow later. I am going to look around and appreciate the beauty of winter everything.
